WORKING TOGETHER - TERMS & CONDITIONS (Career documents & online profiles)

Length of project. The length of the project is strictly no more than 3 weeks. The turnaround time for these documents will be 7 working days or more after you book, pay and get your data collection questionnaire or preparation form back to me (dependent on The Get Noticed Coach’s (TGNC) availability. If unsure check with TGNC first). You will be advised of your earliest start date by TGNC via her invoice or email communications but is dependent on all information and payment being returned.
Urgent applications. Should you require your documents urgently (between 4 or 5 working days), a Premium VIP Service can be ordered for an extra investment. This is subject to my availability. I will use my best endeavours to assist, but there are times when I absolutely cannot meet the deadline due to a fully booked schedule or personal appointments.
Cancellation. There are no refunds available for change of mind. If you are unsure about anything relating to your service, please speak to me first so that we can work out a way forward. I will work with you as best I can to accommodate your wishes and goals, but if you are changing the scope of the package, there will be additional fees around this. This includes if extra coaching or advice is required.
Change of Job function/industry quoted. Once you have decided what industry or role you wish to target, this cannot be changed. As advised, the most successful applications are targeted and once I have started work on your file, extra work will be required to make changes of this nature and therefore an extra investment will be required if you wish to change focus, including some extra coaching around this.
Confidentiality. Your private or sensitive information will never be divulged, discussed or attributed to you or shared with any third party without your prior consent. Testimonials are appreciated and will be used for marketing and promotional purposes including any excerpts of feedback or scenarios utilised, with any identifying information removed to protect your privacy only if you specifically request it. Your electronically stored documents and information are securely stored on a password and antivirus/malware protected database.
Service Disclaimer. Your documents are prepared based on the information provided to me by you. I make no warranties or assurances on the truthfulness, validity, accuracy or correctness of the information provided to me, and assume no responsibility or liability for any misrepresentations, errors or omissions based on the information provided to me. Once you have approved final version of documents, you agree that everything contained in them is true and correct.
Job Guarantee. I do not and cannot make any guarantees of employment on the basis of engagement of my services or the use of the documents, tools or advice prepared or provided by me on your behalf. No coach or resume writer can do that because we have no control over who is at the other end reading your documents and their decisions. What you will get however, is the confidence to apply for jobs that you target and you will be in a much better position with improved documents to maximise your chances of selection.
Investment pricing may change at any time without notice where extra services are requested on top of your package. Any investment paid for remains set for the duration of the package. For resume/cover letter/LinkedIn profiles this is no longer than 3 weeks. Should the documents not be completed within 3 weeks, an extra investment will be requested to obtain extra time in my diary.
Service Timeframes and Limitations. Your package documents and career tools are prepared based on the specific information provided to me by you via your consultation, data collection questionnaire, electronic and verbal communications. This information helps me create tools that specifically target your nominated career path, job targets and positions as nominated in your data collection questionnaire and communications. Once the service has commenced, changes of direction or deviations from the form are not included in the package, and may incur an additional fee on top of the total package price. Each client is allocated a specific timeframe dedicated to fully meeting their specific service needs. Prompt feedback allows for prompt service; therefore, it is requested that clients return communication and feedback requests within 2 days. Extended timeframes for package completion will occur if feedback times extend this period and incur extra fees.
Specifically, to manage my workload you are requested to complete your questionnaire within 2 business days. If you are unable to do this please let me know so I can make alternative arrangements to attend to your matter with a new turnaround date. Please note that I cannot guarantee when you will receive your draft if you miss your first quoted dates for return of information to me. If I have not heard from you, or I have not received the information I need within 7 business days, after 7 business days a fee of $150 will be payable to re-enter a time in my diary and a new turnaround date for return of your draft documents will be determined by TGNC when you have paid that fee. If the late fee is not paid within 7 business days, it will be deemed that you have cancelled your work and forfeited any monies paid. Communication is the key.
Abandonment. If I have not received communication or feedback from you for 3 weeks (21 days), your package will be considered closed and documents in their existing form will be forwarded as final in Word and PDF. An additional fee will be applicable to reopen and reschedule the service. I am very flexible and accommodating however need communication about your plans so I may help other clients until your return and can reasonably schedule in your future service needs. If you work FIFO/shift, are going on holiday, become ill/injured, or any other situation which makes an extended period of service necessary – please just let me know and I’ll gladly work with you to set a timeframe that works for the both of us.

I took a year-long break from an Industry I had been working in for almost 20 years.

I found myself at the end of my time off ready to go back to work, however, I didn’t want to go back to the same job I had always done and was looking for something a little bit different.

I had recently completed Athena Ali’s, The Get Noticed Coach’s training program and I was very interested in what it had to offer.

I found a job I was very interested in and using a lot of the tips Athena provided in the training, I tweaked my resume and put together a cover letter for a six-figure government role, successfully landing an interview.

The interview went so well and I felt so calm knowing that I was prepared and didn’t have to think on my feet too much.

I’m happy to report that I was successful in obtaining the role and am very grateful for Athena’s training which ultimately resulted in me landing the position.
